This workshop is about showing you how to view the world as an artist, rather than learning hard skills. We are going to pull apart and investigate the elements that make up our perception and then learn how to visualise them.

Day 1: Exploration

Our group will meet up at a chosen location in the city. You will explore the environment and your own innate creativity through a series of prompts and exercises that I will guide you through.

These exercises are designed to challenge your perceptions of art making and your own abilities.

On the first day you will be collecting inspiration and ideas to implement on day 2.

Day 2: Creation

Using all you have learned and collected on day 1, you will create your own original artwork. I will guide you through this process, including the use of different art mediums and the elements of art.

• Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided on day 2.

• Materials and workbook included.

• Day 2 will be hosted in Belleknowes, Dunedin, NZ

• 5-6 Students per workshop

• This workshop is ideal for personal development, no pressure creative exploration and team building.
